What is Immutable Storage? How is it Un-hackable? Why do I need it?

Immutable Storage consists of several technologies and processes to ensure data integrity and resilience. The technology that makes it easy to understand is WORM or Write Once Read Many.

Since immutable Storage writes the data in write-once-read-many form, the data blocks are Immutable!! The Blocks Can Not be altered, overwritten, or edited. File Fingerprinting

Secure Digital Fingerprints utilizes a combination of two cryptographic hashes for a unique file identifier.
